At this point, we're certain CADILLAC enthusiasts, and many others in the greater Alexandria have seen the new advertisements the American luxury automaker has released using the 2013 CADILLAC ATS at the forefront. The new ads take the premium sedan to some of the most challenging roads in the world, from China to Morocco to demonstrate the new vehicle's performance and luxurious package all rolled into one.

Debuting the television spots during the Opening Ceremonies of the 2012 Summer Olympics, we see the CADILLAC ATS take on these rigorous roads in a documentary-style in a series called "CADILLAC ATS vs. the World." The forthcoming sedan drives on twisty roads unlike something we've ever seen before, traverses the desert, and in tunnels cut right into a cliff, and much more. It's all an effort to show off the many features the CADILLAC ATS has to offer, with its purpose-built chassis and advanced technology and safety features.

That includes a high-performance suspension, rear wheel drive and many different engine options, giving drivers in the Alexandria, Fairfax and Woodbridge areas a sports car option that also takes on the luxury elite as well.

Of course, with a high-end model comes high-end production to make the ads too. The commercials featuring this exciting new CADILLAC model are directed by Joe Berlinger, an Academy Award nominated documentary filmmaker, while the one behind the wheel of the CADILLAC ATS is champion racer Derek Hill, the son of 1961 Formula One champ Phil Hill.
